The Property Council of Australia is the leading property “voice” in Victoria. The advocacy work undertaken on the members’ behalf has influenced many Government policies such as reduction in land tax.  As well as informing Government policy, the Property Council events are addressed by industry opinion leaders and thought leaders.

The Property Industry is listed as the largest industry in Victoria and the second largest employer in the state; it is an exciting time to be a part of the industry.  The Property Council aims to support the industry’s employees across the state, giving them unparalleled access to research, and networking and education opportunities.

In July 2013 Designing Minds was invited to sit on the committee that runs the Property Council Mentor Program for the Council. Our knowledge of how people work is what we bring to the table together with the capabilities to help re shape the program to deliver value back into the industry.  This program is positioned to become the leading industry program of its kind. Building on the success and lessons of previous programs run through the Victorian Division, the next generation of the Mentor Program will have a broader reach for both Mentors and Mentees and the capacity to engage a higher number of Mentee and Mentor matches.
In 2014 the program grew by a further 25%, being the largest program run to date.
